The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani left Beirut on Sunday after taking part in the fourth edition of the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit held in Beirut.
The Amir and the accompanying delegation were seen off at Rafic Hariri International Airport by Lebanon's State Minister for Presidential Affairs Pierre Raffoul and a number of senior officials.
Message to Aoun
The Amir sent a cable to Lebanese President Michel Aoun, expressing his gratitude and appreciation for the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to him and the accompanying delegation during their stay in Beirut. In the cable, the Amir expressed hope that the summit results would contribute to supporting and promoting joint Arab action for the interests of the Arab peoples.
