Katara Hospitality has joined the growing list of companies that have waived rents for their tenants to help offset the coronavirus impact on their businesses in Qatar.
All tenants of Katara Hospitality's hotels in Qatar, including restaurants and retail shops are exempt from rent for a period of three months, effective immediately, a statement issued by the company on Wednesday said.
Earlier, Ezdan Mall, Hassad Food, Mall of Qatar, Msheireb, Qatar Foundation and Manatec among others have issued similar circulars. The Barwa Real Estate Company has postponed rental payments for three months starting from April.
