| | Educational overhaul key to
rebuilding Pakistan: Hasan | RENOWNED Pakistani educationist
and historian Dr
Mehdi Hasan has called for
rebuilding Pakistan through
an overhaul of the nation´s
education system and provision
of quality education for
the masses.
He stated this in a thoughtprovoking
lecture entitled
´Creation of Pakistan and
Quaid-e-Azam´s Vision´.
The lecture was part of the
Pakistan Day celebrations
organised by the Pakistan Arts
Society-Qatar (PAS) at the
Pak Shamaa School.
Ambassador of Pakistan to
Qatar HE Muhammad Sarfraz
Ahmad Khanzada presided
over the function which was
attended by a large number of
community members.

launch charity card | MASRAF Al Rayan, one of the
leading Islamic banks in
Qatar, has signed a partnership
agreement with the
Qatar Red Crescent Society
(QRCS) to launch its charity
card to help people benefit
from the services of the
QRCS.
The launch of the new cobranded
charity card, to be
used exclusively for Qatar
Red Crescent activities, is part
of Masraf Al Rayan´s corporate
social responsibility.
The agreement was signed
on Thursday at the Masraf
headquarters by Masraf
Group CEO Adel Mustafawi
and Qatar Red Crescent
Executive Director Saleh Ali
al Mohannadi.

Masraf will launch the charity
cards which are convenient

Education City´s first Qatari
Cultural Night recently.
The event featured an outdoor
perimeter of traditional
divans surrounding an
expanse of Persian rugs, a
photo booth where guests
snapped pictures in traditional
attires and heritage items,
as well as a semi-private area
where women had their
henna done while feasting on
traditional Qatari foods.
The idea for the event originated
form Hessa al Misnad,
an SFSQ freshman, and Haya
al Thani, an SFSQ junior, who
