Mobile education unit for diabetes soon

THE Qatar Diabetes Association (QDA) would launch a Mobile Diabetic Education Unit soon, said QDA Executive Director Dr Abdullah al Hamaq. Dr Hamaq disclosed this at a press conference where he received a cheque of QR350,000 as donation.

TAMUQ students present jet fuels research in US
THREE Texas A&M University at Qatar (TAMUQ) students, sponsored by Qatar Shell, travelled to the to the US to present at American Chemical Society´s 2012 National Spring Meeting in San Diego, cutting-edge research on synthetic jet fuels recently. The research project, supported by Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP) and Qatar National Research Fund´s (QNRF) Undergraduate Research Experience Programme (UREP), aims to design new generations of synthetic jet fuels obtained from gas-toliquid (GTL) technology.
