| Cyber Threat |
FOR the last two months, senior
government officials and private-
sector experts have paraded
before Congress and
described in alarming terms a
silent threat: cyberattacks carried out

| RESPECT THE
FUTURE |
LAST fall I asked readers
over 70 to send me 'Life
Reports' essays evaluating
their own lives. Charles
Darwin Snelling responded
with a remarkable 5,000-word
reflection.
Snelling was a successful entrepreneur
who spent decades serving
his community. He was

| | Social shopping: Here
is help for buyers | ANEW breed of
social shopping
startups – basically
online curators
of fancy things to
buy from all corners of the
Web – has been popping up

There are too many to
count, as if all the venture

things for other people to buy.
Most follow a basic, lowoverhead
business plan: A
prominent socialite or stylish

online retailers (like Barneys
New York, Net-a-Porter or
Saks Fifth Avenue), customers
buy, the site gets a
commission. It may sound

returning to movies after nine years.
"Now my daughter is older and she has started
going to school, so I get time. You work in moderation

and be active," the 37-year-old told reporters at
the launch of McDonalds Spongebob Happy
Meal.

She also tells one of her daughters: "I
always knew you had the gift. It makes me
