Stars come out in rain to party in Coachella

IT might have not been the best weather forecast for the festival but that didn’t stop plenty of stars from heading to Coachella. Kate Bosworth, Katy Perry, Paris Hilton, and Emma Roberts all braved the rain on Saturday to party in and around the threeday Valley Music and Arts Festival in Palm Springs.
Checking out her favourite band with her favourite man, Kate Bosworth and her director beau Michael Polish were looking very cozy as they listened to the Arctic Monkeys at the Coachella stage. The 29-year-old actress included the band’s song Fluorescent Adolescent on the ultimate Coachella playlist she compiled for Refinery29. The blonde fashionista took a cue from England’s muddy Glastonbury Festival and paired galoshes with her feminine lacy blue dress and masculine Army jacket.
Michael, 41, wore a classic t-shirt and jeans look with bulky black boots and kept warm in a black Member’s only-style jacket.
At midnight, the Life Happens star and her boyfriend hit up the stylish poolside Palm Springs bash thrown by British heritage brand Mulberry.
“It’s getting wild,” she tweeted to her 15,000 followers while posing with a pillow of a beast from Where the Wild Things Are.
A newly brunette Katy Perry — who recently said she was ‘tired of being famous’ — practically blended into the sold-out crowd as M83 performed in the Mojave tent.
The 27-year-old star wore a black bowler hat and leather fringe jacket with studs, and told her 17 million followers that she would be adopting a very specific sense of style for the festival.
It was like the good old days for socialite Paris Hilton, who was seen hanging out at the festival with her old partying friend Brandon ‘Greasy Bear’ Davis, who wore all black and a Yankee’s cap.
The 31-year-old reality star, whose hair was streaked with orange and pink extensions, wore a see-through hot pink mini-dress to the drizzly festival. Accessorising it with a black boho hat, black cardigan, big white sunglasses, and tan ballet flats, Paris grinned at the photographers, looking happy to be spotted in the Coachella crowd. Paris tweeted, “Raging at The Sahara Tent! I love my life!” Accompanied by a posse including her brothers Conrad and Barron, the heiress bragged about her DJ boyfriend Afrojack’s set at the festival. “DJ Afrojack took over control of Coachella! It was an amazing set. Everyone loved it. It was epic beyond belief! Loved Shermanology’s performance!” Actress Emma Roberts, who tweeted about wanting the rain to stop so she could wear ‘dresses and shorts,’ was spotted at a less-thanglamourous festival afterparty in Indio wearing a less-than-glamourous look.
The 21-year-old Scream 4 star clashed her pinks at the party in a bizarre colour-block windbreaker, pale pink jeans, and white converse high tops. Not seen was her hunky on/off boyfriend Chord Overstreet.
The afterparties continued as stars including Bosworth, Cara Delevigne, singer Azealia Banks, actress Lily Collins and Sky Ferreira showed up for the Mulberry Firepit bash.
TRIBUNE NEWS NETWORK IT’S been nearly a year since Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux went public with their romance. And now that the Wanderlust costars are living together in a Hollywood Hills rental — and prepping to move into a massive, $21 million home in Bel Air currently being renovated — Aniston, 43, continues to open up about why Theroux, 40, is a keeper.
“He’s a protector, for sure,” Aniston tells the May issue of Marie Claire Australia of actor and screenwriter Theroux. “He’s just a good human being, and so funny.” As reported by Us Weekly last year, Aniston and Theroux first fell in love while making Wanderlust in rural Georgia in fall 2010; at the time, Theroux still had a long-time live-in girlfriend, Heidi Bivens.
Aniston told Marie Claire Australia that she “began decompressing” during the secluded shoot. “It’s weird, but it felt like living a normal life; almost like having your anonymity back. Nobody bothered us and we were protected as a group.” The stunning star famously shot a topless scene for the raunchy comedy, which was a box office and critical bomb in the US earlier this year.
“There are always nerves when you shoot a scene like that,” she admitted.
“But the adrenaline takes you through it and then you have the girls come in and cover you up immediately.” KHLOE KARDASHIAN “He’s
