Civil Defence conducts mock drill at Hyatt Plaza
THE General Directorate of Civil Defence (GDCD) supervised a mock drill at Hyatt Plaza in coordination with security staff on Thursday. The mock drill began after the building´s operation room and Civil Defence received information of "smoke emanating from one of the offices in the mall". Firefighting and rescue team from Aziziya Civil Defence Centre moved to the site. They were accompanied by fire engines. A 32m tall mobile escalator was used in the ensuing rescue services.
