THERE’S an interesting drama being played out between Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.

While Deepika and Ranbir Kapoor continue to bond as friends on the outdoor schedules of Ayan Mukerji’s Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani (YJHD), a source says that when Ranbir returns to Mumbai, the first person he calls is Katrina. In fact, Ayan’s first choice for YJHD was Katrina.

The source says, “Deepika genuinely likes Ranbir. The 20-odd days that she spent with Ranbir in Manali is perhaps one of her best outdoor schedules. But it does seem like there can be nothing more than a friendship here, because the moment Ranbir lands in Mumbai, he is with Katrina. According to insiders, Ranbir and Katrina apparently spent quality time at a location in Pali Hill, in Mumbai, the same evening he landed from Manali.” Katrina doesn’t give straight answers when asked about her equation with Ranbir. She usually answers a question with a question, or refuses to comment.

As for Ranbir, he doesn’t talk about Katrina in interviews. And Deepika maintains that Ranbir and she are just professionals on a job.

In fact, Ranbir and Deepika are currently expected to leave for Udaipur, Rajasthan, for another 20-day schedule of YJHD.

Interestingly, around the same time, Katrina will be off to Bangkok with Salman Khan, for a 20-day schedule of Ek Tha Tiger.
