| | SDC names Reyada Awards partners | THE Social Development
Center (SDC), a member of
Qatar Foundation for
Education, has announced
partnership with Al Ijarah
Holding for the Reyada
Awards, an award designed to
honour Qatari entrepreneurs
and organizations that support
ventures.
According to a SDC press
release, Al Ijarah Holding has
been named as the official
partner while Qatar Islamic
Bank and Occidental
Petroleum of Qatar Ltd are
gold sponsors.
The award committee has
received a total of 102 applications,
out of which 21 have
been selected as finalists for
the awards. After a thorough
review, the award winning
projects will be chosen, the
release said.

first debate league for students
of the institution.

attended the final debate that
was held between Social
Sciences faculty team boys
and Law faculty team girls.

Club held a RoboFight
competition on Wednesday.
Club members took part in
the final rounds with the
robots they had designed and
programmed.
Four teams consisting of 3-
5 members from various
majors and levels took part in
the event, which was organised
under the supervision of
QU Student Activities Department.
Its objective was to offer
club members the opportunity
to gain practical skills in
robot design and programming,
as well as to develop critical
skills in strategic thinking
and collaborative teamwork.
