Qtel launches new promo for Hala users

DOHA QTEL announced a series of new bonuses for its popular Hala mobile service on Wednesday.

According to a Qtel press release, key benefits include a wide range of new top-up bonuses. Customers will receive bonus international call minutes for anywhere in the world when they top-up with QR30 or more, plus a bonus mobile internet allowance.

Hala has become the most popular prepaid mobile service in Qatar, with millions of calls made on a daily basis across the country. Qtel has designed the new range of bonuses to match the different ways that customers are using their mobiles, including offering bonus mobile internet data for the first time, the release said.

All customers topping-up with QR30 or more will automatically receive six months validity from the last bonus refill.

Customers will receive as much as 150 bonus international Minutes and 150 MB of internet data when they top-up with QR500, as well as 10 percent bonus credit when they make direct topups via self-service machines or internet topups, the release added.

Customers recharging with QR200 will receive 50 bonus minutes and 50 MB data allowance, while customers recharging with QR100 can enjoy 20 bonus international minutes and 20 MB of data.

All customers who activate a new Hala SIM will receive six months of line validity, rather than the current one month standard, the release said.
