THE Qatar Football Association
(QFA) unveiled names and cash
prizes for various categories for its
annual award function, which will
take place in Aspire Dome on
Sunday at 8 pm. The award ceremony
honours the achievements of
the 2011/2012 football season and
is celebrated by the football fraternity
dedicated to making the sport
in Qatar popular every season.
Speaking at a press conference
on Wednesday, Ahmad al Harami,
General Secretary, QFA Awards
said, "The award ceremony signals
the end of the football season and
a time to appreciate the efforts of
our sponsors, media and stakeholders
in the football family,
including recipients of the various
