QSTP inks deal with UK health services provider
QATAR Science & Technology Park (QSTP), developer of the Rasad remote monitoring technology, signed an agreement with UK´s health services provider to help enhance National Health System (NHS) service to millions of patients across England. The agreement was signed on Tuesday with Harmoni and Corinium Technologies Limited — two companies that will deploy the technology in the UK on behalf of the NHS. QA students visit Asian, European nations
QATAR Academy (QA) students embarked on weeklong learning trips ´Week Without Walls´ to different Asian and European countries recently. The students visited Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand in Asia, and Italy, Switzerland, England and France in Europe. Each year, Grade six to 10 students enrolled in the Middle Years Programme (MYP) select from a vast array of local and international weeklong trips, focusing on the International Baccalaureate mission to extend learning beyond the classroom walls. The trips provide valuable learning opportunities for the students. With over 500 students enrolled in the MYP, an increase in the number of local and overseas.
SDC fetes Reyada Awards winners
THE Social Development Center (SDC) awarded the winning entrepreneurial projects for the first series of Reyada Awards to Qatari entrepreneurs at Qatar National Convention Center on Tuesday.
