Mowasalat to host UITP Summit in November
MOWASALAT will host the first International Association of Public Transport (UITP) MENA Public Transport & Large Events Summit on November 6 & 7. This was announced by Chairman of Mowasalat Jassim Saif Ahmed al Sulaiti at a press conference recently. He said that the summit would be a bi-annual event until the FIFA World Cup in 2022. Earlier, Sulaiti had signed a memorandum of understanding with Ousmane Thiam, president.

Kuwaiti government’s resignation accepted
KUWAIT’S ruler has accepted the resignation of the prime minister and his Cabinet, the OPEC country’s official news agency said on Sunday, laying the groundwork for a new government to be formed. The decision is the latest step aimed at breaking a political stalemate in that has pitted Kuwait’s Western-backed ruling dynasty against conservative Islamists and other opposition lawmakers.
QA to unveil Boeing 787 Dreamliner at Farnborough
QATAR Airways (QA) will unveil its new Boeing 787 Dreamliner at the world’s largest aerospace event, Farnborough International Air Show, which will take place in the UK between July 9 and 15. The global show of the 787 by Qatar Airways, Boeing’s Middle East launch customer of the aircraft, will be a highlight at Farnborough with more than 120,000 visitors expected to flock to the week-long show.
