Emir ratifies Cabinet decision on protecting privacy of personal data

The Emir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani on Tuesday ratified the Cabinet Decision No. 1 of 2018, to extend the grace period for the correspondents to the provisions of Law No 13 of 2016 on protecting the privacy of personal data.
The decision is effective starting from its date of issue and is to published in the Official Gazette.
