Students from northeast call on army chief

New Delhi: Army chief Gen. Bipin Rawat met students from two northeast states on Tuesday and encouraged them to join the armed forces and serve the cause of the nation. Talking to the National Integration Tour for 27 students from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, Rawat brought out the importance of national integration and shared his experiences from the northeastern region. He motivated them to work hard and contribute actively in the nation building process. The students were accompanied by two teachers. (IANS)
