TO ensure that as many people as possible can take part in this year's Ooredoo Doha Marathon, Ooredoo has on Tuesday extended registration for the event until 11.59pm on January 4.
The sixth annual Ooredoo Doha Marathon will take place on January 12, 2018, and this year organisers have promised a bigger and better event than ever.
Ooredoo has also announced that once again, the Ooredoo Doha Marathon will be held at Qatar's MIA Park and the course will take participants along Doha's stunning Corniche area.
Manar Khalifa al Muraikhi, director of PR and Corporate Communications, Ooredoo Qatar, said:"We have already seen a huge response for the Ooredoo Doha Marathon 2018 since registrations opened. However, we want to ensure as many people as possible join us for what is looking to be our biggest and best marathon yet."
"As well as getting fit and active, runners will take part in a truly community driven event for our country and get the chance to run alongside internationally renowned athletes such as Sir Mo Farah," she added.
This year's marathon features courses for runners of all abilities including a 10km run, half-marathon, full marathon and a special children's 1km fun run and registration fees will range depending on the selected course and age of the participant.
