THE Cultural Village Foundation-Katara will host 'Katara Tech Forum' at Building 15 on Wednesday.
Representatives from leading institutions as well as a group of experts, researchers and specialists in the field of advanced information technology are expected to take part in the forum.
The forum will address government services in the State of Qatar, Web and user experience portals and review the Epilert and mobile phone project, which entails charging of mobile phone by using the walking movement.
Besides, a lecture on 'Thaqafa project', which seeks to provide Arabic audio content,ranging from poetry and stories to history, will be held.
An exhibition will also be held on the sidelines of the forum featuring stands of TechoEjabi, Kinetco project, Ministry of Transport and Communications, Ebla and Katara.
In addition, there will be an honouring session for companies and institutions for their innovative projects.
Katara Tech Forum aims at developing skills of the youth and spreading awareness about the latest advancements in information technology. The forum takes place on the first Wednesday of every month. (TNN)
