RAVVY Kaur, a RICS Registered Valuer, in the valuation team at DTZ Qatar ran the Ooredoo Doha half marathon recently for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, according to a press statement.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, autoimmune disease of the brain and spinal cord that disrupts the flow of information between the brain and the body. Kaur said:"The charity is something very close to my heart, with the MS Society having invested over $148 million into world-class research since 1956 to ensure those suffering from MS have the treatments and services they need. They invest millions into MS nurses, programs and services to help people with MS."
Edd Brookes, General Manager of DTZ Qatar, said:"Being a proud Qatari company, we are delighted to continue our sponsorship of great causes both within Qatar and further afield, and are very pleased by the efforts made by Ravvy to complete the half marathon." (TNN)
