wagamama has revealed its new year campaign theme #flavoursofasia, which has been built around showcasing some of the brand's most iconic and popular dishes from across it's pan-Asian menu
Inspired by the ramen bars of Japan, the global restaurant group offers a wide variety of dishes from across the Asian continent, reflecting the increasingly adventurous tastes of today's restaurant-goers.
The menu includes worldwide favourites such as the brand's signature katsu curry (chicken or vegetables in crispy panko breadcrumbs served with aromatic curry sauce, sticky white rice and side salad) as well as dishes synonymous with flavours and countries such as Korea for example steak bulgogi (known as Korean barbecue beef), a dish which translates to 'fire meat'. Marinated steak is served with soba noodles, aubergine, kimchi and finished with a tea stained egg.
Since it's inception in 1992, and arrival in Qatar in 2012 , wagamama restaurants have become a firm favourite destination for anyone loving delicious, nutritious, high-quality and affordable asian food.
wagamama's menu includes hot and nourishing ramen bowls (Japan), super-tasty teppanyaki stir-fry noodles, including a classic pad-thai dish (Thailand) and warming donburi bowls of rice and spice which are perfect at any time
"Our chefs cook daily in our kitchens with a variety of authentic, lesser-known Asian ingredients ranging from ponzu, a citrus-based sauce used in Japanese cuisine to nuoc cham a mix of lime juice, lemongrass and chilli which can be found on every table in Vietnam," said Philippe Tardieu General Manager Ali Bin Ali Hospitality.
"Every dish is prepared and cooked fresh to order to ensure we capture the freshness, flavours and aromas to perfection."
The wagamama locations are well-known worldwide for their"open kitchen" theatre and offer of freshly prepared food, served in a modern and vibrant restaurant environment.
With everything being cooked straight away and, to ensure optimum freshness, brought to the table immediately, this means that some dishes will arrive sooner than others. But don't wait - tuck in or share. It's all part of the wagamama experience.
