QATAR is participating in the 83rd International Green Week (IGE), in Berlin, Germany.
Minister of Municipality and Environment HE Mohammed bin Abdullah al Rumaihi inaugurated the Qatari pavilion on the sidelines of the exhibition, which was attended by more than 70 agriculture ministers. He also met with German Minister of Food and Agriculture Christian Schmidt and a number of ministers at the event.
Qatar's participation in the international exhibition comes as part of its strategic relations with Germany and the mutual visits between the two countries, including the visit of the Qatari Businessmen Association delegation in November 2017.
Founded in Berlin in the Golden 20s, the International Green Week is a one-of-a-kind exhibition on food, agriculture and gardening industries. (QNA/Berlin)
