Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani attended the closing ceremony of Qatar Autism Families Association (QAFA), held under the slogan"Together We Make Difference" on Thursday.
The PM honoured a number of ministers for their contributions and support to the activities of the association.
Minister of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs HE Dr Issa bin Saad al Jafali al Nuaimi and Minister of Culture and Sports HE Salah bin Ghanem al Ali stressed the importance Qatar gives to people with disabilities, especially those with autism. They highlighted the government's efforts to provide all necessary support to the activities and events that work to integrate people with disabilities, especially those with autism, into society and raise awareness of their potential and abilities.
