A man was arrested for trying to buy goods from different stores in Qatar by using forged credit cards. The accused comes from an Asian country.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) under the Ministry of Interior also seized a number of forged credit cards, a bank card programming device and a laptop containing data of stolen credit cards from the man.
The arrest was made after the CID received a tip-off about the accused.
During interrogation, the accused confessed to his crime. He has been referred to the authorities concerned for further action.
