Qatar University's (QU) Center of Community Service and Continuing Education celebrated being awarded the ISO 9001 certification for quality management systems in recognition of its continuing commitment to quality and excellence in management operations on Wednesday.
The certificate was presented to Center of Community Service and Continuing Education Director Dr Rajab Abdulla al Esmail by Bureau Veritas Country Chief Executive Selim Kseib in the presence of QU President Dr Hassan al Derham, French Ambassador to Qatar HE Eric Chevallier, Bureau Veritas Business Line Manager System Certification Services Vishal Bhat and Sales Manager System Certification Services Makram Abou-Fakherddine, as well as QU leaders and staff.
In his remarks, Dr Hassan al Derham said,"Excellence is an important value that we must spread among us and in our daily life. Through such certificates, we aim to maintain our standards of highest quality.
"We appreciate the hard work of the center's members to achieve this important step and for maintaining the highest standards for stakeholders and clients."
Ambassador Chevallier said,"Today demonstrates what Qatar University is aiming at. This certification is a demonstration of quality and excellence."
Dr Esmail said,"The centrr is committed to providing high-quality continuing education programmes to learners."
