Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q) welcomed newly admitted students to the Marhaba Tartans evening, an event where the students can explore the academic programs and student experience opportunities at CMU-Q.
More than 100 admitted students and their families met their future professors and classmates, as well as the staff members who will support them in their educational journey.
Michael Trick, dean of CMU-Q, welcomed the Class of 2022:"Students, university is a transformative experience. You are starting on a journey where you will meet new, lifelong friends, learn new interests and passions, and build the foundation of careers where you can make a difference."
Each of CMU-Q's academic degree programs offered 'Explore Your Major' sessions, followed by a scavenger hunt designed to familiarise students with life on CMU-Q's campus. (TNN)
