This came in a statement issued by the committee after its meeting at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, chaired by Dr Sheikh Thaqeel al Shammari on Tuesday evening. The committee said the Ramadan moon was not sighted on Tuesday and announced that Wednesday is the final day of Sha'ban, and Thursday will be the first day of Ramadan.
