Workers' residence building opens in Al Shamal May 17, 2018 0 1832 12345 Tribune News NetworkDohaThe Al Shamal Municipality has inaugurated a new residential complex to house workers in the industrial zone. This comes as part of Qatar's efforts to provide suitable accommodation for workers.The new worker's accommodation is provided with all services and facilitates including health, social, religious and entertainment requirements, in accordance with the latest international standards within the framework of Qatar National Vision 2030.The new building, which is dedicated to the craft and labour category, has been constructed keeping in mind the best safety standards. The facility can accommodate 180 workers. A football playground will come up soon. It is one of the new architectural models for the workers' housing, which is designed to cover all the health and living needs of the workers in line with the requirements of the area allocated to each worker, while providing the services stipulated in the labour law.The facility was opened in the presence of Director of Al Shamal Municipality Hamad bin Jumaa al Mannai and Head of Public Affairs Department Jamal Ali al Sada.
