Step into any car showroom in Doha and you will find it tough to resist the temptation of buying a brand new car, thanks to the hot auto deals on offer during this holy month of Ramadan.
A wide range of offers such as hefty discount on car prices, in-house financing and free comprehensive insurance for customers are being doled out by car showrooms.
"We expect the sales to pick up by at least 20-25 percent as there are many offers for new vehicle buyers this Ramadan. Some buyers wait for the Ramadan promotion to buy cars as they know they will get very good deals during this period," a sales executive of Jaidah Motors told Qatar Tribune.
He said many buyers either prefer to wait until the year-end or Ramadan to make a decision on buying cars.
George Vellapia, a customer who bought a new vehicle this Ramadan, said,"I was planning to buy a new car for quite sometime now and one of my friends told me to wait for Ramadan. I heeded his advice and got a very good deal on my car."
According to Vellapai, the dealer gave him a very special price for a Mitsubishi Outlander and also offered him one-year free registration, one-year free insurance, guaranteed buy-back scheme, Carrefour vouchers worth QR3,000, five years of unlimited mileage manufacturer warranty and roadside assistance.
"The competition to get as many customers during Ramadan is so stiff that most car dealers try to outsmart each other with lucrative and enticing offers," Sales Manager of Go-rent a car company Mahroof Hossain said, adding that"The Ramadan offer is a win-win situation for both the customers and car dealers."
Auto Class Cars, which recently launched MG brand in Qatar, is offering a special offer on MG vehicles.
Valid until the end of Ramadan, the offer allows the customers to buy MG RX5 or MG ZS for monthly payment of QR1,199 or QR999 respectively. Besides, customers can enjoy many benefits including one-year free registration, one-year free comprehensive insurance, two years/30,000km free service, door-to-door maintenance service, six years/200,000km manufacturer warranty, no early termination fees, and guaranteed buy back.
Al Fardan Motors is giving its clients one-year full comprehensive insurance scheme in addition to a three-year full warranty and service package for up to 60,000 kilometres.
The package covers all genuine Maserati components and consumables, including air, pollen and oil u64257?lters, as well as their replacement and technical inspections.
Similarly, Nasseer Bin Khaled Automobiles is offering customers a chance to own a Mercedez Benz for as low as 20 percent down payment and a monthly payment of QR1,899.
