The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will implement a traffic change on F-Ring Road to facilitate the construction of an interchange linking F-Ring Road with G-Ring Road.
The traffic shift, to be held in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, will start on Thursday, May 24, 2018.
Traffic will be realigned to the permanent lanes of the F-Ring Road for users travelling from Mesaimeer towards the Hamad International Airport.
The new route comprises four lanes, replacing the three-lane carriageway for a short distance of approximately 1,850 metres.
By removing the detour, the F-Ring carriage will be fully open in both directions since Ashghal had diverted traffic coming from Hamad International Airport towards Mesaimeer to the permanent lanes recently.
Ashghal has urged all motorists to abide by the speed limit.
