FAMILIES were delighted by activities at Doha Festival City (DFC) this weekend where they were able to celebrate the Holy Month of Ramadan together.
On Friday (May 25), Doha Festival City celebrated the traditional Garangao night with more than 10,000 sweet-filled goody bags that were handed over to the visitors during the event.
The children were encouraged to dress up in traditional Qatari outfits to add even more fun to the free-of-charge celebration.
Throughout the rest of the weekend, children got the chance to work on many priceless artworks created for their families.
There are many more activities taking place at DFC throughout the Holy Month, including live cooking stations, story-telling, henna painting, traditional games, interactive photo booth with traditional dresses as well as the 'Permanent Wall with 99 Names of Allah on display'.
