THE Advisory Council's Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee discussed a draft law regulating non-Qatari ownership and usage of real estate during a meeting on Sunday chaired by its Rapporteur Nasser bin Rashid Seraei al Kaabi. The Committee decided to invite the Minister of Justice to its next meeting in this context.
Meanwhile, the Services and Public Utilities Committee of the Advisory Council at its meeting chaired by Rapporteur Mohammed bin Mahdi al Ahbabi continued study of the general debate request on the high rent of shops, and decided to submit its recommendations thereon to the Advisory Council.
The Committee also discussed a draft law on road transport of hazardous substances, and decided to invite the Minister of Transport and Communications to attend its next meeting.
