The Central Market at Abu Hamour will undergo comprehensive development and converted into a commercial complex like a nearby complex called Baladi, a CMC member has said. Abdul Rahman Abdullah al Khulaifi, the CMC member from Abu Hamour, said the livestock market is expected to be shifted to Abu Samra soon.
He said foul odour emanating from the livestock market is causing problems for the residents of the area. He said there has been demands to quickly relocate the market away from populated areas.
He said the vegetable and fruit market at the Central Market will be shifted to Al Sailiya soon, according to a report in Al Sharq.
