Buccellati has presented breathtaking one-of-a-kind creations at their 1 Rue de la Paix boutique during the Paris Haute Couture. One common factor that binds all the pieces of the creations together is the Buccellati's trademark honeycomb technique.
Patiently created through the work of skilful hands, every hole is hand-pierced and then carved with a manual saw until it gets the desired hexagon shape.
There is no space for mistakes. One slip of the hand and the creative process has to start all over again. The result is a light and delicate lace that aligns with even the most precious fabrics, originating in the Burano isle, near Venice, or in Flanders, Belgium.
This honeycomb design revives the splendours of the ruff worn from the mid-16th to the mid-17th century, made entirely from lace, increasing in size throughout the century.
The elegant appearance of lace is enhanced by its impressive openwork design. In true Buccellati style, precious jewels contrast beautifully against white and yellow Gold, as well as a unique combination of white and yellow gold.
Undisputable elegance is a consistent factor within Buccellati design offering an unparalleled longevity. This elegance exudes from refined cuff and bangle bracelets, and is emphasised by a perfected geometry witnessed in magnificent pendants that transform into spectacular brooches.
Buccellati pushes creative innovative design to its limits this season, challenging the beauty ideal with striking yet wearable pieces.
Following the success of the 'Carlotta' tiara, Buccellati heightens the bar of exquisite design to present the 'Phoenix' tiara ” adorned with subtle intricate flower and bird motifs, which combine to create a striking central decoration.
Completing the new season offering, Buccellati will exhibit the latest designs from the Opera watch collection. The classic Opera watch is produced in a cuff bracelet design, decorated with crocodile leather which is available in a variation of colourways and a casing encrusted with 337 diamonds, each of which has been set by hand a true display of trademark impeccable craftsmanship.
The cuff watch is engraved using the brand-recognised 'Rigato' and 'Ornato' handcrafted technique.
The casing finished with a 'Graffito' engraving and a mother-of-pearl dial showcasing the Buccellati logo completes the process ” a glorious example of the brand's globally-identifiable production technique.
Buccellati presents the Opera AB watch which is decorated with small 'Macri' flowers composed of four white gold bezels, set with diamonds on a 'Rigato' engraved surface.
The case, embellished with 167 diamonds, is the most effective manner. A successful display of exquisite craftsmanship and the beauty of Buccellati's one-of-a-kind creations shine brightly at this Paris Haute Couture.
