Parking fees increased

The committee at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) has increased the parking fees. The parking fee for the first four hours has been fixed at QR3 per hour. The fee for additional hours is QR5. The maximum fee per day is QR70. The fee for the valet parking service is QR30 for a maximum of three hours, while the fee for VIP parking service is QR60 for a maximum of three hours. The fine for losing the ticket is QR70. According to the earlier fee structure, QR2 is to be paid by vehicle owners for the first and second hours of parking, respectively, while QR3 will be charged for the third and the fourth hours. The charge will be QR5 for each additional hour after the fifth one. (TNN)
