A UNITED States delegation led by General (ret.) Anthony Zinni visited Doha on Monday, according to a press statement. The delegation met with senior Qatari officials from several departments to discuss the Middle East Security Alliance, a proposed initiative that the United States is developing with partners from the region. The American and Qatari delegations had a productive exchange of views and will continue discussions on this initiative. General Zinni is the former commander of the US Central Command. (TNN)
