A DELEGATION from the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey reviewed the advanced technological systems at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) during a visit to the Communications Department at the Ministry, as part of its current visit to Qatar.
The delegation listened to an explanation about the technical sections of the Communications Department and the services provided in the field of communications in various departments of the MoI and the advanced technologies used. The Turkish delegation made a presentation on its duties.
Assistant Director of Communications Department at the Ministry Brig Khalifa Sultan al Harami said that the visit comes as a complement to the visit made earlier by a delegation of MoI engineers to Turkey.
He added that these visits aim to exchange experiences between the Turkish and Qatari sides in the field of technology and achieve cooperation between the two parties in terms of research, information technology and network security.
Vice-President of Business Development at Turkish Council Orhan Muratoglu expressed pleasure to visit Qatar, adding that in light of the development of relations between the two countries, Turkish Council seeks to enhance cooperation in the field of communications.
He noted the development of communications technologies and systems at the MoI. The Communications Department of the MoI boasts several advanced technological systems, he added. (QNA)
