QATAR Charity (QC) has launched the 'Bring me Back to School' campaign.
The campaign aims at supporting children's right to education and preventing the school drop-out phenomenon. It coincides with the start of the new school year, aiming to meet the needs and expenses of students, especially of primary school students from low-income families.
The campaign targets 3,000 students. In the first phase, school fees, transportation, bag, stationery and book expenses will be covered for 1,500 students for a whole year.
The QC has urged people in Qatar to support the campaign and make donations to pay for children's educational materials such as books, uniforms, footwear, school fees and other school supplies.
Donors can contribute to the campaign by directly making donations at QC's headquarters, its 26 branches and 92 collection points located in commercial complexes within the country. Also, people can easily donate to the campaign through QC's website (https://www.qcharity.org) and App (qch.qa/q/app).
Mobile donating is also available via Ooredoo and Vodafone. To donate QR1,000, QR500, QR100 and QR50, send 'QAEY' to '92429', '92428', '92642' and '92632', respectively.
