Doha Qatar has welcomed the agreement between North Korea and South Korea on the denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula and the relevant measures in the interest of peace and stability in the region. In a statement on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's assertion that reaching a comprehensive and satisfactory solution for all parties through dialogue and peaceful means will end decades of hostility that has cost the citizens of the two Koreas and which has resulted in the dispersion of families since the 1950s, in addition to spreading security and tranquility among North Korea's neighbours.
