Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani on Thursday visited a number of public schools to monitor the progress of the educational process for the academic year 2018-19.
During the visit, the PM was briefed on the level of preparation of schools for the new academic year. He was also briefed on the efforts made to promote education to achieve the aspirations and goals of the state's educational system.
The PM issued a directive to all those involved in the education process to cooperate and exert their maximum efforts to promote the academic performance which will lead to results that will contribute to the development path in the state.
The PM was accompanied by Minister of Education and Higher Education HE Dr Mohammed bin Abdul Wahed al Hammadi.
