Qatar Fnance and Business Academy has announced the launch of 'Coffee with CEO' series for the 2018 Cohort of Kawader, a press release said on Monday.
The first session was held with al khaliji Group Chief Executive Officer Fahad Abdullah al Khalifa.
Khalifa shared his invaluable life and career lessons, providing the Kawader members with unparalleled inspiration and guidance on their ambitious path.
The event series is intended to engage leadership figures in the financial services sector in Qatar with Kawader young motivated members in a casual setting where the CEOs share professional insights and wisdom with them. The Kawader programme started on September 2 and will continue until February 2019.
On the launch of this series, QFBA Chief Executive Officer Khalid al Horr said,"The purpose of launching 'Coffee with CEO' series has been to empower the future generations to imbibe best practices early in their professional careers from none other than the pioneers in this sector."
He said,"As you are aware that Kawader has always taken an innovative route to enhance students' strategic thinking and prepare them towards taking the best decisions in challenging times."
"We are proud that an exemplary leader like Khalifa, has started this series with his engaging and powerful practical experiences. Our students have greatly benefitted out of it and the sessions planned in the future are also geared to offer insights into the financial sector's changing dynamics."

Kawader is a quality Qatarisation programme, an innovative learning initiative that is specially designed for grooming high potential young Qataris towards the financial services industry. It aims to equip talented fresh graduates and young professionals, with practical skills and competencies required in the Qatari financial services sector.
Kawader programme includes Financial Services relevant to train professionals based on global standards, which comes as a result of the financial industry efforts to invest in the next generation of leaders in the Qatari financial sector.
QFBA has designed this programme in collaboration with Qatar Financial Center, to train fresh Qatari graduates and young Qatari professionals in the early stage of their career towards accredited certifications to fast track their career progression and fuel their leadership development.
