The speech delivered by the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani at the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York has received huge praise and appreciation from citizens, residents, experts, and officials on social media platforms.
A hashtag titled"Glorious Tamim addresses the world" was the first trending hashtag in Qatar before, during, and after the speech was delivered by the Amir.
HE Sheikh Thani bin Hamad tweeted under the hashtag:"His Highness' speech today was strong in content and took a clear position on various issues such as the unjust blockade and the different causes of the Arab nation. The Amir stressed on the role of the youth in the development of societies, and his tone was full of confidence in opposing injustice and standing up for fair causes across the world."
Sheikh Saif bin Ahmed al Thani, Director of GCO, wrote that the speech of the Amir emphasises the role Qatar plays in achieving peace, security and stability in the region.
Along the same lines, Qatari journalist Jaber al Harami wrote the Amir has a journey of honourable positions supporting the causes of nations and their people on the United Nations' podiums.
Moreover, Executive Editor of Al Watan newspaper Fahed al Emadi noted that the speech of the Amir was balanced as usual and contained many valuable points. ” Malek Helali
