THE Amir of Qatar HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani left the capital Quito on Tuesday after a two-day state visit to the Republic of Ecuador, heading to the Republic of Peru. HH the Amir sent a cable to the President of Ecuador Lenin Moreno, expressing deep thanks and appreciation for the hospitality and honour accorded to HH the Amir and the accompanying delegation during the visit, which allowed meeting with the president and exchanging views on issues of common concern and means of strengthening and promoting the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries in various fields for the good and the benefit of the two peoples. HH the Amir wished the president the best of health and happiness, and the friendly people of Ecuador further progress and prosperity. (QNA)
