THE organising committee of the Scientific Excellence Award held a meeting with representatives of private schools in the State of Qatar on Tuesday to introduce them to the categories of the award, the conditions for participation along how to fill the applications and prepare the required data. The meeting was part of the committee's efforts to promote Scientific Excellence Award and expand the participation of private schools in it. The award comprising a cash prize of QR100,000, a certificate of excellence and a gold medal is given each to a governmental and a private school. (QNA)
