DOHA Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) and the Police Training Institute (PTI) of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding to coordinate opportunities for cooperation in the fields of education, training, consultancy and research of common and agreed interest
The MoU, which was signed by DI's Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs Dr Hend al Muftah and Major Ali Saud Al Hanzab from the PTI, aims to enhance cooperation and partnership between the two parties and to identify the basic conditions and elements of mutual cooperation.
According to the MoU, the two sides will exchange experiences, experts and faculty members; provide vocational education and training at specialised Doha Institute centres; develop the executive and professional skills and capabilities of the MoI employees and hold joint seminars, conferences and workshops.
The two sides will also benefit from the programmes and courses of the Doha Institute's Language Center, its library and its diverse sources of learning, joint research, studies and consultations.
On this occasion, Dr al Muftah expressed the hope that this memorandum will be a true addition to both institutions and open new horizons of fruitful cooperation, stressing that the signing of the MoU is part of the institute's role in communicating with the various institutions of the State to achieve Qatar National Vision 2030.
For his part, Major Ali Saud al Hanzab said that the MoU is in line with the collective vision of the two institutions to expand the partnership in the field of national research and training institutions and to benefit from its expertise to develop PTI's programmes and training courses.
