THE State of Qatar is going through regional challenges, but thanks to Allah and the steadfastness and strength of Qatari society and its friends, the country has become stronger and more self-reliant than ever, the Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani said while pointing out that Argentina will overcome its difficult economic conditions as well under the leadership of its President Mauricio Macri.
Commenting on what President Mauricio said about Argentina's difficult conditions at the beginning of a luncheon banquet, HH the Amir said that all nations are going through difficult stages.
President Macri began by welcoming HH the Amir and the accompanying delegation on his second visit to Argentina, which provides a new opportunity to strengthen relations between the two countries.
He also praised the cooperation which is at various levels, where Argentina's experience in food security can help Qatar to the same extent that Argentina can benefit from Qatar's experience in energy, pointing out that his country is experiencing difficult economic conditions.
He added that Friday's talks dealt with other areas such as education and sports, looking forward to further cooperation. He also pointed to Qatar's ability to organise a successful FIFA World Cup 2022, wishing his team success in qualifying for the championship.
