THE UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres praised Qatar's contribution to provide fuel to the Gaza Strip to generate electricity, which will reduce human sufferings and help run healthcare facilities."The secretary-general expresses his deep appreciation to Qatar for its $60mn contribution, which made this delivery of fuel possible to provide electricity in the Strip for the coming months," UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said in a statement in New York."Fuel for the Gaza Power Plant is most urgent in order to increase generation of electricity and lessen the humanitarian issues as well as to provide public healthcare in the region," Dujarric added.
