The Cabinet, at its regular meeting on Wednesday, praised the outcomes of the tour of the Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani to South America from October 1 to 6, which included Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay and Argentina.
Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani chaired the meeting held at the Emiri Diwan on Wednesday morning.
The Cabinet said the visits the Amir made and the talks held with officials there, as well as the agreements signed were successful and helped propel ties between Qatar and the four countries to new levels.
The tour reflected the strength of the ties Qatar has fostered internationally and the success of its strategic partnerships with countries all over the world, the Cabinet noted.
