FM sends message to Greek counterpart
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic Nikolaos Kotzias received a written message from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al Thani pertaining to bilateral relations and means to develop them. Ambassador of Qatar to Greece HE Abdulaziz Ali al Naama handed over the message during a meeting with Director of the Private Cabinet for Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Christina Vagena. (QNA)

SJC president takes part in Int'l High Courts meet in Istanbul
President of the Court of Cassation and President of the Supreme Judiciary Council HE Judge Massoud Mohamed al Ameri participated in the 4th International Summit of High Courts, which began in Istanbul, Turkey, on Thursday. The two-day meeting will discuss the judicial code of conduct on integrity and judicial independence. Ameri's participation comes as a representative of the judicial authority, in addition to his membership in the advisory board of the Global Judicial Integrity Network. (QNA)

Qatar condemns bombing of teachers' residence in Kenyan school
Qatar has strongly condemned the bombing of a teachers' residence in a school in Kenya's Mandera province near the Somali border, killing two teachers. In a statement on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm position rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons. The statement expressed the condolences of Qatar to families of the victims and the government and people of Kenya. (QNA)
