REGISTRATION for the 2018/2019 winter camp season will commence on October 15 and continue until December 31, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), represented by the Committee for Organising Camping Activities, has announced.
Speaking at a press conference in Doha on Sunday, Engineer Ahmed al Sada, assistant undersecretary for environment affairs at the MME said the camping will start from November 1, 2018, and continue until April 15, 2019.
He pointed out that applications can be submitted at government services centres in various regions of the country, in addition to electronic submission through the ministry's official website www.mme.gov.qa, adding that application is available at the ministry's mobile application.
He said there are 2,630 land and sea camps available in all areas of the country for this season, an increase of 30 camps compared to last year's season.
He further explained that to facilitate the registration online, this process was divided according to regions for three days. (TNN)
