THE 3rd edition of the Food & Hospitality Qatar Exhibition organised by IFP Qatar concluded at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) on Thursday.
The exhibition witnessed participation of exporters, manufacturers and traders from food, food processing, packaging and hospitality sectors from over 15 countries including Qatar, Iran, Algeria, Turkey, Russia, Austria and India among others.
The Indian pavilion at the exhibition was inaugurated by the Ambassador of India to Qatar HE P Kumaran on November 6. The Indian pavilion was organised by Weg Voraus, a business promoter and exhibition organiser headquartered in New Delhi with the participation of around 20 companies with the support of the Indian Embassy in Doha.
Among the major players participating in the pavilion were PCL Foods, Zimdra Foods from the Rice Sector, Jay Shree Tea from the Tea segment, VNKC Agrocom who specifically pioneer in peanut segment and Fedora Impex from the Kitchen Equipment Sector.
The pavilion also featured manufactures and exporters like Savour India representing breakfast cereals; Kaloon Agro - Honey; Evexia - Food Supplements, KCPM & SIGC - Cardamom, Orchid Exim - Sesame seeds and spices and others from rice and cereals like KKRM, Meghdoot etc. Apart from food, the pavilion also had participation from the food packaging sector Spectra Plast providing plastic based packaging material supplies and solutions.
