President of the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) Mohammed Ali al Mannai and Engineer Mohamed Ben Amor, secretary-general of the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO), on Tuesday discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation between CRA and AICTO in the field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
The meeting comes in line with CRA's aim to communicate with related Arab and international organisations in order to exchange experiences and keep up with the latest developments in the field, which in turn will contribute to the development of Qatar's ICT sector.
AICTO is an Arab governmental organisation headquartered in Tunis, the capital of Tunisia, and working under the aegis of the League of Arab States. It aims at developing ICTs throughout the Arab region and providing the necessary mechanisms to support cooperation and complementary between AICTO members, promote and enrich common policies and strategies to develop vital technological domains.
